TRX is the B2B online licensing platform for TV rights. We are building the world’s largest marketplace of TV rights, currently comprised of more than 1,000 acquiring broadcasters and 100+ distributors worldwide and growing. Our clients include BBC Studios, Sky Vision, Studio Canal and Lionsgate, with many more in the pipeline. The TRX mission is to help TV rights executives do more deals with less hassle.

TRX was founded by TV rights entrepreneurs David Frank and Matthew Frank in 2015 and launched in 2017. TRX has raised £13.8m to date from private, institutional, and strategic investors (including Sky Ventures).

Summary

TRX is looking for a methodical yet creative Associate Product Manager to join our expanding team reporting to the Product Manager. Our small team, which includes five developers, believe strongly in agile methodologies. We’re looking for someone who will embrace great practices and help us become more agile. The role involves working with external clients and internal stakeholders to feed into the product roadmap as well as our developers to get the product delivered.

Working on new features with our Product Manager, you would; conduct user research, create user flows and wireframes, finally creating stories in our Kanban board (we use Github) and work with our developers to ensure efficient delivery. You will assist the development and deploy process by carrying out methodical QA testing. Once features are released you would be using a variety of tools to measure the effectiveness of the feature and recommend next iterative steps.



Responsibilities

- Working with the Product Manager, the team and our customers to understand needs from the industry, our business and clients

- Create user flows and wireframes to iterate MVPs for new features, working closely with our UX agency

- Present new features to the TRX team and its clients

- Create user ‘stories’ based on these for the development team to deliver

- Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction

- Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of products

- Ensure a customer feedback loop so that clients and business are feeding back into the process at all stages of development

- Input into the product roadmap

- Work within an agile environment and ensure agile processes are being followed

- Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of products

- Perform QA and ensure UAT is completed on all product deployments

- Understand TRX’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognised best in the industry


Requirements

- At least 1 year proven software development experience in Product Management – ideally at a B2B SaaS platform during its growth phase

- Business analysis skills such as strategic planning, process design and system analysis, workflows

- Experience scoping products from inception and working through to delivery, using data to inform your decisions

- Experience designing and presenting simple and intuitive user interfaces – ability to create examples through wireframes and mockups

- Experience with CRM systems such as salesforce, hubspot etc

- Experience managing priorities across multiple projects and products

- Excellent written and verbal communication and client facing skills

- Experience developing web based products, technologies and platforms is strongly desired

- Experience and understanding of SCRUM (and or another Agile methodology)

- Use of a wide range of Product Management and related tools (we use Github, Google Analytics, Mixpanel etc)
