TRX is recruiting a Sales Executive with 1-2 years sales experience to join the team rolling out the TRX system across the globe. Based in London in the glorious surrounding of Somerset House.

TRX is a pioneering startup revolutionising the TV distribution industry. Bringing together experts from TV Content Production, Rights Management and Technology, TRX makes thousands of hours of television content available from over 100 leading content providers such as All3 Media, BBC Studios, Lionsgate, GMA, Mediacorp, Sky Vision, Studio Canal and Zee Entertainment for TV buyers globally to acquire content in a streamlined and effective way.

TRX has an advisory board of key industry figures including Stephen Lambert, founder and CEO of Studio Lambert, Nadine Nohr, former CEO of Shine International, Andrea Wong, former President Sony International and John Ford, former President at Discovery Communications US.

The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager you will be responsible for:

- Working as part of the Sales team, and closely with the Client Services team on all aspects of buyer engagement and growth, focusing on a specific territory remit

- Building comprehensive buyer relationships across assigned Territories and

- Building new relationships with buyers in these assigned Territories

- Discovering new platforms and opportunities

- Building a strategy with key Sales Executives from the distributors on TRX

- Executing and reporting on this strategy

- Regular Travel

- Regular phone/skype/face to face meetings with buyers

- Regular reporting/presenting of your activity to senior management

Desired Skills:

- A minimum of 1-2 years sales experience as a sales executive within the TV distribution industry

- Proven ability to take initiative and go the "extra mile" to exceed expectations

- Pre-existing relationships with buyers in one or more specific regions

- Natural communicator, confident and well presented

- Flexible, ‘can-do’ attitude with enthusiasm and initiative in abundance

- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate for time difference with London Head Office

- Pro-active and creative thinker

- Proven written and spoken communication skills

- Passion and knowledge of the TV rights and distribution industry

- Efficiency and excellent organisation skills imperative

The Package:

- Package dependent upon experience. Circa £30-35k basic
