We may collect personal information from you when you or someone in your organisation registers on TRX, creates or modifies a user profile, or corresponds with us by phone or email, including full name, company name, job title, company address, email address, phone number and photo.

We use third party services including those provided by Google, Inc. (Google Analytics) to collect technical information, including the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer and/or mobile device to the Internet, your login information, geo-location information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform.

We may also collect information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our website (including date and time), territory preferences, page response times, download errors, length of visits and methods used to browse away from the page. If you are logged in to your TRX account, we may also collect data about the content you access, view, click on or search for (including scrolling, clicks and mouse-overs).

Information we receive from other sources

We use a third-party provider, The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a MailChimp to deliver periodical e-newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks.

We use a third-party provider, Intercom, Inc., to supply and support our live chat service, which we use to handle customer enquiries in real time. If you use our live chat service we may collect the contents of your session.

We also work with other third parties (including Reed MIDEM, sites or applications where our advertisements appear and credit reference agencies among others) and may receive information about you from them.

We employ industry best practices, such as requiring https and ssl-encrypted communication at all layers of the application. Information is stored on our secure servers based within Amazon’s data centres, which utilize the Amazon Web Service technology and have been accredited under ISO 27001; SOC1 and SOC2/SSAE 16/ ISAE 3402; PCI Level 1 and FISMA Moderate.

Please note that the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure, and although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its security. Where you have chosen a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.

We may transfer your personal information to third party service providers located in countries that are outside of the EEA only to the extent it is necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing.
